Deborah Hannah Ministries

Outreach Ministry

We host an annual prayer breakfast to serve hundreds in our community. This event is inspirational, empowering, and motivational in assisting one to live a purpose-driven life. Participants enjoy buffet-style breakfast, group activities, door prizes, vendors, giveaways, gospel music, praise dance, prayer, and the spoken words of God that can transform lives. This event is ticketed but free for the homeless and those who meet the financial hardship criteria.

Holy Angels is an 18-bed, 24/7 shelter program serving single women, mothers with children, and intact families. They meet the basic needs of safety, food, clothing, and shelter. We are partners with Holy Angels and donate supplies according to their needs.

Deborah Hannah Ministries contribute resources to the Family Living Center in E. St. Louis. This center is for homeless families with an adult head of household and dependent children aged 17 or younger. We invite the residents to our annual prayer breakfast each year.

Our gospel concert features gospel recording artists that are influential performing artists, mime/praise dancers, and Christian comedians that uplift spirits and bring laughter to the downhearted. People come in one way and leave a better way.

Our conference will be a two-day event. The young ladies will wear Kingdom Pearls T-Shirt for our opening day and professional attire on the conference's final day. DHM will assist any young ladies that have challenges with our dress code. This conference is for young ladies from ages 13 to 19. Many young ladies have been through traumatic experiences in their lives. Incidents such as sexual, physical, and emotionally abused, and some have suffered sex trafficking. This conference aims to build self-esteem, select healthy relationships, respect yourself and others, and manage emotions. These young ladies need a support system for healthy decision-making and lifelong learning. We will offer group and individual counseling for their well-being. We will provide other resources to assist their needs. A female guardian or caregiver must accompany young ladies under 18. They will have access to speak with a licensed professional counselor after the conference if they choose to do so. There will be registration packets, vendors, inspirational music by recording artists, group activities to build social skills, and a make-up session with a professional headshot. DHM will serve lunch during the conference.

This program is for seniors ages 70 and older. Seniors that live in their own homes instead of a retired senior living home get lonely. We want our seniors to remain healthy emotionally, physically, and socially. We offer a program that provides social gatherings and activities for our seniors and games such as bingo, outings, arts and crafts, health and nutrition classes, and spiritual group sessions. Our new facility will have a gymnasium with exercise equipment, track, and aerobic classes for seniors who love moving to music. Funding will allow us to provide transportation to recipients in need. The seniors will also interact with our youth during their summer breaks. They will share their skills and expertise, such as crafting, financial literacy, construction, soft skills, etc., bridging the gap between our youth and seniors. The teens will be able to serve our seniors for community service credits.
