Meet the Founder
God, the creator of heaven and earth, called me to build this ministry. In 1994, I heard an audible voice awaken me from my sleep as He expressly said for me to feed His sheep. Immediately, I knew what this meant.
God had his hands on me at conception. From birth, my parents made sure I attended church. My father, Earnest Hill, was the pastor at Christian Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where the word of God became the foundation of my growth.
In 1995 I was trained as an inspiring missionary at San Francisco Temple East. In 2000, I was in the Ministers Apprentice Program at St. Louis Christian Center under Pastor Alfred Harvey. His pastor and overseer were Pastor K.C. Price of Crenshaw Christian Center. On October 19, 2013, under the leadership of Pastor Raymond D. Horry of the Ark of Safety Christian Center, I was ordained as a minister.
While attending the Ark of Safety Christian Center, God called me to begin Deborah Hannah Ministries, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This call is now in action. My target group is the urban communities. We currently have a property in E. St. Louis, IL., and we foresee properties in other urban communities nationwide.
Deborah Hannah Ministries’ motto is Changing Lives * Shaping Futures. We purposed in our hearts that no one hurting would be left behind. We created the slogan No one Hurting Left Behind (NHLB) because many are left behind and misunderstood. Unfortunately, many view people labeled at risk as burdens or problems, and many rather not be bothered with their issues. These are the ones that need the most help. “Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.” Mark 2:17. We forget about those suffering in silence until they explode. That’s when we want to do something. My heart is to serve these very ones that are in need.
